Second ACECA Founders Meeting



The second meeting of the ACECA founders and volunteers was held at the Taipei Artists Village from 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm on October 27th, 2013. The purpose of this meeting was to share information about the two current projects of ACECA and its sister organization, ATAYAL. Members were asked to sign up for one of the following committees.

Mike Huang, Founder of Fuudai.com presents his crowd funding web site.

The meeting was kicked off by a presentation by our special guest speaker, Mike Huang, founder of Fuudai.com. He presented information about his crowd funding resource and ways to launch a successful fundraising campaign.

Torbors, Senior Director of World Vision Taiwan shares about his experiences.

We also welcome a special guest, Torbors, who is the Senior Director of World Vision Taiwan. He shared a little about his experience and work helping the survivors of Typhoon Morakot.

Gary Smoke shared about the ACECA community event, Christmas in Wulai III. He shared stories and photos of the past Christmas events, and asked people to sign up and find sponsors.

Tony Coolidge shared about the ACECA international event, Tap Root Cultural Exchange Program. He shared a video and explained the purpose of this exchange program to develop international cooperation for indigenous film and television projects.

Members get to know each other before the meeting.

Members and volunteers signed up for the committees, and were told they would have teams for specific tasks.

We especially thank our volunteers, Rowena Leong, Miranda Hung, and Kiki Wang for supporting our event.
